The modern laboratory of the Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid is equipped with high-quality test instruments for analyzing materials and parts (e.g. direct and transmitted light microscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy and microscopy, DSC, GPC, climatic and drying cabinets and mechanical test equipment). It is possible to make statements regarding individual material properties, causes for component failures, utilisability of materials, etc. The laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 since December 2000.
