The Kunststoff-Institut fuer die mittelstaendische Wirtschaft NRW GmbH (K.I.M.W.) combines tomorrow’s scientific know-how with today’s production capabilities. Our focus is on increasing the quality and economic efficiency- especially for injection moulded parts made of thermoplastic and thermoset materials. For that reason we offer a number of services for the benefit of our customers.

• emphasizes on increasing the quality and economic efficiency in the plastics industry
• was founded in 1988 as an “extended workbench” and is thus one of the most experienced service providers in this field of expertise
• is a private-sector service provider supported by an association of shareholders of approximately 145 companies
• currently employs a staff of approximately 45 people from various fields of expertise: engineers, technicians, chemists, master craftsmen, secretaries and trainees.
• generates an annual turnover of more than four million Euros.
